Cornmeal at the ready... Looking forward to the Zoomtastic cookery course with @irina.r.georgescu this evening. We’re making mamaliga (second pic) plus mushrooms in garlicky sauce and a cucumber and dill salad. Irina’s book, Carpathia, is a brilliant introduction to Romanian cooking and foodways, and has several recipes for polenta, Romanian style. I’ll find out a lot more on the topic tonight, I’m sure!
