My first attempt at #marmalade was a success - eventually... For some reason I’d never made it (lack of time I suspect) but this was the year, helped along by the encouragement of @hattie.e and @the_pam_the_jam . My first try resulted in something with a beautiful colour - but a thin texture. So after initial bottling, I had to reboil and try again, adding a bit more lemon juice and boiling for longer. I think I now ‘get’ the gelling thing. The result is pretty delicious if I must say so myself... bring on the toast.
